Boeing Boeing by Marc Camoletti
St. Andrew's Community Centre
This classic farce centers on Bernard, a French architect living in Paris who is juggling three different fiancées, all of whom are airline stewardesses. By tracking their flight schedules, he ensures they never encounter one another in his apartment, aided by his housekeeper and a visiting friend. However, the introduction of a new, faster Boeing jet disrupts the timetables and brings all three women to his door at the same time. The play premiered in Paris in 1960 and later opened in London’s West End in 1962. It was revived in 2008 on Broadway, where it won the Tony Award for Best Revival of a Play.
