ZEST Tickets & Seating - Your Guide to the Best English Theatre in Zurich

Welcome to the ZEST Tickets & Seating page! Here you will find all the information you need to book your perfect theatre experience. From ticket prices to seating plans, we've got you covered.

How to Buy Your ZEST Tickets

Advance sales of tickets are handled by Eventfrog, Switzerland's leading ticketing platform, and typically start at least four weeks before the premiere of each production. You can buy tickets online, either through the Eventfrog website, which is available in German and French, or their easy-to-use app for iOS and Android. Please note that for assistance or if you have trouble purchasing tickets, you should email our Ticketing Team directly at ticketing@thezest.ch, as Eventfrog and ZEST do not offer ticket sales by telephone.

At the Box Office:

Our box office opens one hour before each show. We recommend arriving early to ensure a smooth process. We accept the following payment methods for your convenience:

  • Card (credit and debit)

  • TWINT

  • Cash

Please note that tickets are subject to availability. We encourage you to book online in advance to secure your spot!

Eventfrog Ticket Outlets:

In addition to online sales, Eventfrog offers ticket sales at a number of physical outlets. Please note that additional fees may apply.

  • Swiss Post (additional fee CHF3.- per ticket, max. CHF9.- per order)

  • BLS in Bern and Lucern (additional fee CHF3.- per order)

  • OLMO TICKET Bern (additional fee CHF2.- per ticket, max. CHF6.- per order)

  • SOB in Kanton Schwyz (additional fee CHF3.- per order)

Ticket Prices and Seating Plans

ZEST offers a variety of ticket prices to suit every theatre-goer. For shows at the Theater im Seefeld, our base prices are: CHF45.- (stalls), CHF35.- (balcony), and CHF25.- (students) with allocated seating chosen at the time of booking. Ticket prices for other venues, such as Theater STOK and Theater Keller62, typically range from CHF28.- to CHF42.-. Please note that prices may vary for some productions and venues.

Student Tickets

We consider children (younger than 18) and people who go to an institution of higher education (e.g. high school, university, or an institution like “Hochschule”, “Fachhochschule”, “Hochfachschule”, etc.) as students. A valid student ID must be presented when collecting your ticket or entering the auditorium.

Seating Plans

For specific seating plans, please refer to the ticket sale pages on Eventfrog for the event you wish to purchase tickets for. Generally speaking at the Theater im Seefeld, there are 12 rows of 24 seats in the stalls and 4 rows of 24 seats on the balcony, but this may vary for some performances.

Parking

Please note that none of ZEST’s venues have dedicated parking spaces. We highly recommend using public transport whenever possible. For those arriving by car, public paid parking is available a short walk from all our theatre locations.

Accessibility for Patrons with Mobility Impairments

Accessibility for patrons with mobility impairments varies by venue. The Theater im Seefeld is step-free and keeps four seats available per performance, priced at CHF45.- each. These seats are specifically reserved for two patrons with mobility impairments and two companions, and are exclusively for those who require them due to a mobility impairment. To reserve these seats, please contact our Ticketing Team directly at ticketing@thezest.ch.

Please be aware that Theater STOK and Theater Keller62 are basement venues with approximately 15 steps and are not accessible to patrons with mobility impairments. However, both venues have handrails, and a member of our Front of House Team is available to provide assistance to guests with limited mobility if needed.

Group Bookings

For most of our venues, groups who wish to purchase a block of at least ten tickets for a single performance are eligible for a discount. The general discount offered is 10%, though this may change depending on the venue and production. To book for a group, simply select either the 'block booking regular' or 'block booking students' category when purchasing your tickets.

To receive more information, be added to our block bookings newsletter, or get help with a booking, please contact our team via email at ticketing@thezest.ch. Subscribers to this newsletter are informed of ticket sale starts at least one week before the general public.

Food and Drink

At all of our venues, ZEST offers a bar service with a selection of drinks and small snacks. Our bars typically open one hour before each show and remain open during intervals, as well as for at least 30 minutes after the performance. To avoid queues, you can pre-order your interval drinks at any of our bars before the show.

We accept card, TWINT, and cash for payment. Please note that we do not accept older PostFinance cards with the 'Plus' logo. Hot food is generally not available.

Cloakroom

ZEST operates a cloakroom at all of our venues. The service is free, and a member of our Front of House Team is always in attendance. Please be aware that all items are left at the owner's risk, and ZEST does not accept any liability for them. Some venues use a tag system, but not all of them do. A lost tag will cost CHF5.-.
