SYNOPSIS
Set during a fiercely contested presidential primary, FARRAGUT NORTH follows a young, ambitious campaign press secretary caught in the brutal machinery of American politics. Written by Beau Willimon (House of Cards / Andor), it offers an unflinching look behind the curtains at the strategists, spokespeople, the media, and dealmakers who shape public perception of representative politics while serving their own ambitions. But as loyalties shift and personal motives collide, the play explores how power, even in small doses, distorts values and relationships.

REHEARSED READINGS
What is a Rehearsed Reading?
Rehearsed Readings are a unique way to experience a theatrical piece for a reduced price in a relaxed, cabaret-style setting. Unlike our full-scale productions, these readings feature minimal set, lighting, props, costumes, and sound effects. Actors perform with a script in hand and have typically rehearsed just a few times.
It's a chance for our community to explore a play in its early stages. These readings are sometimes later transferred to a larger venue for a full production, but that is not always the case.
Event Details
Our venues typically have space for 40-50 people, so tickets sell out quickly! All venues offer a small selection of drinks, and some also offer small snacks. Your seat might be at a small table.

General Admission: All rehearsed readings are 'general admission,' which means seats cannot be selected at the time of booking and are allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis.
